* A note on the metal finishes: I do not seal my metal after I alter it, so it will continue to change over time. I like this effect, I like the idea of your jewelry changing over time as it ages, taking on a patina. I like using a jewelry cloth to buff and clean my jewelry. However, if you don't like the idea of your shiny new-penny copper earrings dulling and changing, you can clean it well, and then seal it. You can use clear finger nail polish, or a clear acrylic spray. * *If you are allergic to certain metals but you want to keep the changing surface, just seal the back of your pendant where it touches your skin, or wear a shirt between your skin and the pendant. * |
